• Speakers are in the back but doesn't seem to be a problem. Most times I listen to my surround sound system hooked up to the optic connection in the back or at the original source like a bluray or cable box.

• In the back on each side. It has good sound and good stereo separation. (Samsung 40 inch 4K UHDTV 6500 series)
