I needed to replace my bedroom dinosaur aged Samsung TV. I loved that TV but it was getting really old and my husband keeps telling me this old TV is sucking up energy & wanted to replace it years ago, but I'm old school didn't want all that high tech TV's. Well the hubby bought me this too Smart TV for me & I do love it and all the things you can do with it. I've been happy w/all my Samsung products throughout the years!

Bought this set as a 4K monitor for my PC. Works great, but make sure you have a high end graphics card (I use the GeForce Titan X) using HDMI 2.0. Picture is crisp and clean - heat is minimal as compared to my old 30" Dell which you could have fried an egg on after a few hours.

First tv I bought in years Not bad for a 42 in tv . Next flat screen will be bigger and 3D

Easy set up and installed by myself. Connected to u-verse easily. Good picture, haven't checked out all the options. (63 yr old grandma)

Beautiful picture with great color separation . It is perfect for my motorhome due to maximum screen size and minimal flashing.

I had a Samsung LCD TV from 2007 that was getting ready to die on me so I did my research and narrowed my selection down to two new Samsung's, this one and the 7100. Well it died last Friday so Saturday I went looking to buy or order a new one. 4K was a must because I wanted the best picture and this TV delivers. I didn't really care about smart features, but after getting this TV they are growing on me, like when watching shows like Grey's Anatomy or Gold Rush where they have a huge and vocal following the TV can display live tweets about the show, which sometimes are better than the show. It also offers a cast listing with pictures and general show info, on top of what my cable box provides. I am just starting to dig into the other smart features. The TV it's self looks nice has great audio and is easy to set up and connect to other devices. Many might say you need a sound bar to get great audio but really that depends on the size of the space and what you are using it for.It connects automatically to your WiFi network all you have to do is enter your password. The TV actively seeks out other devices to connect to, to make set up so very easy. All I have connected is my cable box and PlayStation for now. For me it was not worth it to step up to the next level up in TV's, I thought I was settling but I was wrong. As of right now I only have one issue, and it is that there is no swivel base, I loved that about my old TV but no new TV has a swivel base. Overall I am extremely pleased with this Samsung TV, and I am sure most others would be to.

This 4K Samsung replaces my previous Westinghouse 1020p, and it is far superior. The picture is outstanding and clarity exemplary. The unit is very light weight and user friendly to set up. The technology is amazing and intuitive. The only criticism is the audio. You need to purchase a sound bar to make the visual experience equal. But, I think this is required for all SmartTV's now. Great buy.

My wife recently started working as a proof reader and publisher of text books. She was working on an old desktop station with a 19 inch monitor, making her work challenging. As a caring and loving husband I decided to purchase her a new MacBook Pro and wanted a large monitor (early Christmas gift). The Apple monitors where expensive and only 27 inches, initially I was thinking a 32" Samsung 1080 but after speaking with the sales team they directed me to 4K television. My wife was skeptical at first when I returned home, but once it was setup it was an ideal work solution. She could not understand how she functioned under her previous situation. Productivity increase by 3X, it reduced the strain on her eye, and she could have multiple windows spread across the screen. The set up was plug and play, the picture was crisp and it made her work easier to perform. Our friends thought we were crazy, but once they saw the setup one (a Lawyer) went out an purchased it to be a monitor. Great advice, thanks Best Buy Team.

This was the best TV value wise on the market and I got it as an open box special since it was for the beach house and not wanting to spend a bunch for a home we are at twice a month at best, back to the TV you will not believe how clear the picture is and the quality of the same. I can remember when ultra were $5,000 less than a year or so ago to get a deal like this for $600.00 is astonishing the pic is great the sound is great and the setup was even easy I did it all by itself in a few minutes, and it had all the apps built in so that made it easy to stream. Glad I went and don't forget to Ask about the open box specials they are really no difference than new and the same warranty but a few hundred less.

The picture is beautiful on this tv. It was very easy to set up and use. Very lightweight. Just perfect.

This is my first-ever tv purchase and im glad I went with a smart TV. Bought it for my bedroom & mounted it. I have no complaints yet. It has been a mth since I bought it and a week since i started using it. The color is crisp, clear and sharp. I've always loved Samsung they never disappoint.& this time is no exception. Samsung rocks! And I love the clarity & definition on the 4K TV. Plan to get a 60" for my living room. Can't wait! :-)

The comment we make over and over is HD cable looks so incredibly life like; almost 3D. The TV is solidly built with perhaps the one possible exception being the plastic TV stand (which doesn't matter if you mount it). Sound is solid even at high volume levels. Color is tremendous with wonderful black blacks. Video games pop on this screen. The remote is comfortable and easy to hold. We got lucky and bought this open box for a little over $400; an awesome deal. Even at full price, this TV is still a great value. Definitely buy it.

This TV was purchased for my bedroom because my husband kept on insisting on buying one of these new 4K TVs. I was skeptical about it at first because we have flat screens in every room, there was no need for a new TV. But we went to Best Buy and checked things out and came accross this TV with an "Open Box" price tag on it. Needless to say, the picture quality on this TV is amazing, and I am so happy that I gave in and let him make this purchase. Especially for the sale price we got it for. I would recommend this times a million.

After hours of research for a TV to be used mostly for XBox gaming I settled on the UN40JU6500. It has a low input lag and awesome picture. I did find a Visio with lower input lag but the picture was no where as vivid and crisp as this Samsung. I've enjoyed it so much I just bought its big brother UN55JU6500 55inch as our families primary TV.

Only have had this for a month...so far we love the UHD.......... Great size for a bedroom. Great picture, easy to control. (So far).

This TV is soooo worth the money!! Great for the bedroom. Picture quality is outstanding and it looks great hung on the wall. Very easy to setup and the wireless direct tv is great. I would buy another one if given the chance... Hmmm may have to just upgrade the other TV's in the house anyway!

My oil Phillips CRT TV finally died, and I had just bought a 40" Sony for my bedroom. I was planning on buying the same TV when a friend said I should check out the 4K HDTV from Samsung. I fell inlove with the picture and the color. I bought it the same day I went to look at it in store. Everyone who sees it...is blown away.Samsung is awesome

I could not believe the clarity of this TV. It is so bright and clear it feels like you are there. It's also a smart TV with lots of apps just wish they had more apps. Blu rays look like 4k. If you thought HD was sharp, this tv blows them away. You cant go wrong with this Samsung. I liked it so much we went back and bought a second one.

I moved into a new house and wanted a nice small tv to mount in my bedroom. I have the 65 inch version of this tv already. They are great tvs. I recommend browsing forums to get calibration advice. Once calibrated you will love it too!
