This TV has a great picture and is very easy to use. The speaker is almost useless. I had to buy a sound bar which makes this a perfect fit for picture and sound.

Love this 4k Samsung, so plain, real-life like. My first smart TV , still learning but enjoying it, Samsung and Best Buy have been so helpful answering my questions with patience and professionalism. That means a lot. Samsung has created this great product, am glad to give it 5 stars.

Picture amazingly sharp, lots of 'smart' features and connectivity, interface easy to work with.

Model JU6500 is superior to JU6400. Good selection of inputs/outputs for many devices with proper codecs including headphone jack. UHD good in 40" except for judder effect. 60Hz is barely adequate for movies and is annoying at times. Samsung is constantly redefining what '120 Motion Effect' means. For 2015, uhd sets = 60Hz, HD sets = 120hz. Using any adjustments on TV to reduce this are useless unless you like the soap opera effect.. Excellent picture otherwise. Sound could be better. Full browser, wireless connects easily. Sometimes drops connection & have to sign in again ***NOTE: Does not successfully mirror IOS devices. Only If judder problem doesn't bother you, I would recommend.

Beautiful picture. Quick to set up. Optical audio output port however lasted less than 8-hours of viewing before it failed. Initial indicator that maybe something was wrong was a strong smell of ozone in the air from the moment it was first powered on. As an Engineer I knew it was likely not burn-in, but knew something was either going to fail or the smell would go away. Got my answer. The good thing is, Best Buy has said "bring it back we'll replace it" for up to 15-days after purchase. I don't have a complaint about Best Buy. They don't control Samsung quality.

Although there is very little 4k content the picture on this set is awesome. It's so life like you feel as if you are in the picture or it's a live perfromance. The remote is simple and easy to understand. There is a menu button that allows the user to make adjustments to picture, sound etc. I can change these settings based on what I am viewing e.g. movie vs. normal HDTV. You pay more with Samsung, but you get more.

The picture is very clear and the color is vibrant.

I searched and compared for a couple of months. I wanted a UHD TV but not a huge screen, that is not easy to find. I found a few and went to different showrooms to compare picture quality. This Samsung had them all beat, hands down. After a couple of missteps with the wifi setup I got it all working and love it.

This is my 3rd samsung tv and I wouldn't think about getting anything else. The picture is crisp and all the smart TV features work so well. The sound from this TV really amazed me. I wish I had spend the extra money and got the 50in looking back on it.

Quite simply the best TV I have ever owned. I wasn't sure if 4K would make a difference at 40" but it does, and it seems to upscale 1080 HD a bit as well. Apart from the sharpness the colors and contrast are exceptional and rich. This TV also handles other input sources very well, which some TVs don't.

Purchased this 40" TV to replace our current 6 year old 37" Sylvania 720P TV and am 100% satisfied with the Samsung 4K. The TV has a fantastic picture with great resolution and color. The sound was better than expected for a 40" Television but it could be greatly improved with a sound-bar if you are a sound fanatic ... However; as far as I'm concerned the sound is totally acceptable for a bedroom. The smart TV is also a great addition because we can order movies or get online to access various built in features. I decided on trying the 4k even though programming is quite limited, hopefully broadcasting will catch up to technology in a year or so. If not, the 1080P is slightly sharper and that's a big plus in my opinion. It would be helpful if Samsung included an old fashioned manual in paper form instead of adding the information digitally on a chip inside the unit... for those who may be technically challenged, the digital manual is not the best way to go with respect to the initial setup.
