Good entry level 4K TV! Works great, fast, looks great! Only con is it's truly only a 60 hz (refresh rate) TV. The 120 motion plus is a marketing gimmick. *On a tangent, the shipping for this TV was the fastest I have ever received. I ordered this TV on a Sunday, got it on Tuesday, and it was free shipping! Only downfall was TV came with screen smashed. But I brought it to my Local Best Buy and they exchanged it no questions asked!

The picture is absolutely amazing. The video is only limited by the camera, now, not your TV. In most cases, with a good quality video or movie, it literally feels as if you are looking at the scene with your own eyes. That's how clear it is. Also, for my gaming friends, which is why I primarily bought this product, I've never seen graphics displayed so beautifully. Every droplet of water, every wrinkle on their furrowed brow, every seam of stitching on the clothing continues to amaze me with its detail. And it's my understanding that this 4k technology is ahead of the video game curve meaning when they come out with the next console that actually produces this kind of quality game that pushes the limits of video hardware, you're already there ready and waiting. I can't say enough about this TV. absolutely amazing, and extremely satisfied. Haven't had a single problem in the month I've had it.

I bought the 55" version of this 4K UD TV and liked it so much that I bought this 40" one for the bedroom. This is a quality set. The price was so reasonable. The picture is fantastic. Another great television from Samsung.

First smart tv in the household. Very easy to set up and install. Satisfied with the overall functions of this our first Samsung product. The only thing is the remote is lethargic at times ..we have changed batteries but does not make a difference. There maybe a solution out there, unknown to us at this time!

When we decided to upgrade the entertainment system in our bedroom, we needed a flat screen that would fit into an existing armoire, so we knew it would have to be around 40" There were several setts that would work, but the Samsung Ultra HD had the best picture. It was also super easy to set up. We now actually find ourselves watching programs in bed since the picture is so good.

This is my first 4k smart tv and I'm impressed with the quality of the picture. I'm definitely a fan of the smart apps. It is nice to have access to netflix, amazon instant video, and YouTube to name a few options. The sound is slightly above average, but I wasn't expecting anything great. Overall, I'm satisfied with the purchase and enjoy it very much. I would recommend it.

This is my third Samsung TV and I am extremely happy with this purchase. The picture is excellent, and the setup is pretty easy. It is also a very light TV, especially considering the screen is 40". If you plan on using this in a larger room, I recommend a sound bar as the sound from the TV itself is good, but the quality with a sound bar is much better and clearer.

Awesome color and sound, I like the size not to small and not to big.

Overall a good 4K product for this price range. Pros: 1. Excellent picture quality 2. Good up-scaling capability (720p, 1080p videos looks good) 3. Good app collection 4. WiFI /Bluetooth connectivity is good. 5. Able to play allmost all formats of audio/video Cons: 1. USB loading time is more, sometimes it dont even detects 2. Built in speakers are not great 3. Web browser doesn't support Flash player.. 4. Even though it says it is Quad core, it is not faster enough to justify quad core

The set up is easy. Sound quality needs work. A pulse of sound that sometimes is too loud is bothersome. It took many attempts to rid the audio of annoying clicks. Running the sound directly into my Zvox speaker system helped. Picture quality is good and sharp, but viewing from the sides produces a washed-out look. Back light adjustment could be improved. My old Samsung HD has a better picture and seems to be of higher quality overall.

This is my first flat screen TV and I don't know why I waited so long! The clarity and colors of the pictures can't be beat. It's also a smart TV and make everything very easy to access, ie DVD, music etc. Would recommend this TV to everyone who wants to enjoy the best show!!

I'm honestly a huge fan of Samsung and their products. This TV was no exception. Right off the bad the start up was simple. The TV recognized my phone and connected to it getting the wifi information and date/time. The on screen instructions are simple and easy to follow. The picture is crystal clear and loading for the apps are a breeze. The TV is really light and thin, which causes it to sit almost flush to my wall. The only thing that kinda gets annoying is the auto dimming feature which senses the room lighting and adjust accordingly. Takes a while to adjust but can easily be disabled

After looking at this product in the store, amazing picture, and reviewing it with a comparable tv online, I was hooked. I ordered it and it arrived in a timely manner. The quality of the picture is better than I had, but I have yet to see anything in 4K. Looking forward to that. Don't know if it is a cable thing or a broadcast thing. My only real disappointment with this tv is the quality if the picture gets worse from any angle other than straight on. My old tv did not have this issue. I do like the smart features of the tv. When my phone rings I know who is calling as it is shown on the tv. Overall, satisfied. Hopefully when I watch something in 4k I will up my rating.

I've always had good luck with Samsung products. This TV has a great picture & was very easy to set up. I also had a great experience at Best Buy with their salesman. He was knowledgeable about my questions.

It's a Samsung so quality isn't a issue it's a 60hz refresh so it's not a spotless picture but for a 4k it is a quality had TV .. Samsung never fails I have a curve in the living room I got this for the bedroom with hopes it could somewhat stand up to the curve and for the most part it is a good investment .. Like I said 60hz but the 4k upscaler helps with cable and actually gives a really great pic compared to other Tv's I've tried

Easy setup and great up-scaling of DVDs. Older standard definition DVDs are extremely sharp. The picture quality is excellent. I would have given a 5 star rating but the viewing angle is not as great as I thought it would be. Not a problem the majority of the time.

Samsung never ceases to amaze, I have chosen Samsung as my family's nearly exclusive tech provider because of their phenomenal quality and this TV is no exception. Great picture quality, great features, and over great quality of the TV itself. For the price, it's unbeatable.

Great TV for the money. It replaced a 46" Samsung tv that I purchased about 8 years ago. Perfect size for a bedroom. The speakers aren't very good, but that seems to be the norm on TVs these days. Getting the TV set up was a breeze. I also purchased a sound bar and the two paired with ease. I've been enjoying this TV for about 6 weeks now and I have zero complaints.

The model I picked up is a 40". Finding 4k content was a challenge. Amazon prime and YouTube filled the gap. I could see no difference on Amazon streaming and only newer YouTube videos we're noticeable. I believe 50" and higher is where the sweet spot is. "Smart tvs" are something I've always considered a joke, streaming sticks and set top boxes have always been my go-tos. While I still prefer Chromecast over most other options my kids can grab the remote and use the on-board apps, I never had to instruct them once! Aesthetically, I enjoy the thin dark plastic frame that resembles brushed metal. There is a silver strip on the bottom and branding is very minimal with a "Samsung" logo approximately 2" long. A red light resides on the underside near the right side that blinks when commands are recognized but unfortunately stays illuminated when the TV is off. On board controls are a single, click-able joystick like many newer tvs. I like the stick control, only problem is that it's on the backside above the red light about six inches up! My TV is on a cantilever mount and still hard to access. My entire hand, just past my wrist must go behind the tv. If you're looking for a low profile wall mount, (the tv is quite thin btw), you will never be able to access these controls. Sound. The difference between TV shows and movies has always been noticeable to me. The difference on this TV makes me sad. I listen to tv between 20 and 30 but movies must be cranked between 50 and 60! The sound is quite tinny, which can be expected for such a thin tv. The rear facing speakers are expected to bounce off the wall behind it. My TV is on a full-motion mount a couple feet from the wall and sounds echoy on it's own. This might be okay for a bedroom but if planning to use in a big room look for soundbars or above. One cool trick is that it paired to my wireless bluetooth speaker with no adapters! Not cool for tv watching but a neat option if playing music and hosting a party. Also, 4 HDMI ports was my deciding factor. ARC, MHL, DVI, and STBH. CEC works great, turns the tv on and changes input. If you use the on-board USB to power a chromecast no voltage is sent to it while the tv is off meaning you can't power on the tv with your phone or computer, you will have to power it with a wall socket for that feature. tl:dr Good -nice picture, but hard to notice 4k given the size. Smarttv features slightly snappy and kid friendly. Looks good when off. Bad - on-board controls and sound.

Picture and features are very good.Very easy to set up and program. On screen displays and menu are easy to read and follow. Weakest part is the sound and lack of volume to be able to hear over the sounds of wife cooking in the kitchen.
