Thank you for the answers. I visited a BB store and there are plug in options that required an audio jack (not on this tv). The other plug in option which would work was over $150. Ended up returning the TV and just getting the next level up which had Bluetooth and only invested $100 more. Thanks again

Please try again later.There are a couple of methods, both of which involve third-party add-on boxes: an HDMI audio extractor, which would sit between an HDMI source and the TV (there's no HDMI out on this model), and using the optical output from the TV. Not very convenient, true, but both will work. Headphones that have a volume control will be a big plus in either case.
