“Does this have earphone out or other audio out function? Someone said there's no audio out but I can't believe a TV that can't be connected to a sound bar or surround sound. That would be goofy.”

• No, The manual says sound output is optional. Mine does not have sound output.

• This model gives you the choice of its internal speakers, or external sound via a digital TOSlink optical connection. It does not have an analog headphone/speaker connection.
