This tv is, according to another website, very similar to the ku6300, but lacks Bluetooth and has a standard remote. So it should be close in price, but at the time of writing is 100$ more.

These two models look the same other the $70 price difference. The Model KU6290 also falls into a much lower cost for the 2 and 5 year extended warranty when comparing the two. The ONLY difference I have come across is the smart remote comes with the KU6300 and the KU6290 has the standard (still really good remote) when you do a Bestbuy "compare" selection. Calling on Samsung TV experts or anyone that knows about the Samsung UHD and SUHD / 4K models to provide us some help! Please.. Hopefully someone who knows Samsung TVs and with 2016 Holiday Deals popping up can guide me. Thanks again!

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The KU6290 55" model I purchased 4 months ago had the smart remote and this 40" model also states it comes with the smart remote on BB online. So the only difference i see is the KU6300 has Bluetooth headset support otherwise it the same TV..
