Is this tv 2k or 4K? null

It is 1080P. It is not designed for 4k. If you do not have 4k resources (Satellite, 4k blu-ray, or 4k broadcast signal) this is the kind of TV to get. At 40 inches it doesn't make a whole lot of sense to get 4k anyway. This will play all your blu-ray, DVDs, and receive all current television broadcasts.
