YES, it have Closed Caption, used your Samsung remote (do not your cable box remote) go to menu or setting button, then system then accessibility then to closed caption and used cc button on remote to turn on. Hope it help you because that's how i turn mine on.

Yes it does. They are very good lettering and you can change how they look in the main settings under general and closed captioning.
