Just an hdmi cable. Be aware that almost no providers currently produce/broadcast anything in 4K at this point. You would have to have a 4k gaming system or a 4k blu Ray player.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Directv does have several channels which offer various 4K programming. You need a small box that supports their 4K programming. It has expanded since our first 4K tv was installed. And they have a free upgrade to the little mini box which accesses the 4K content. I hooked mine up without it, and did get all the other programming except the 4K. I will wait until I get my mini box free upgrade in March, since I can watch it on the 65” curved Samsung 4K UHD theatre set up in our great room. The 4K is fantastic and I am looking forward to enjoying it on the smaller set too.

I have the new Genie II and its "minis" (small wireless boxes) connect all my tvs. They come with hdmi cables to hook up your tv. To enable your Samsung to see the hdmi go to "home" and there will be a source icon. The hdmi source should show up. Click on it and the tv will recognize it. Btw, the 1080p picture on this 4k tv isn't as sharp as my Panasonic plasmas. However, overall not too bad. Amazon and Netflix are better.
