“What is the difference from a UN40JU7100 (replacement for) from a mounting and connections standpoint. 7100 has OneConnect?? I want to make sure I won't have issues installing on the same stand and connections.”

JU means it is a few years older-one connect needed to up date the tv, for probably only one year. MU is current model with all the updates included. screen in MU better, and HDR included. go with the MU.
