“Is anybody else having issues with assembling the stand? The screws somehow don’t go all the way in and the stand is feeling very unsturdy It’s like the screws that got sent with the tv are too short or something”

No way. It went together in maybe 5 minutes. We did have to adjust once because we did not get the screws in all the way, but we had great success after. It helped to have a second person to help but I'd give it another whirl. My TV is great, easy set up as well. We love ours
