“I need this to fit into a space that is 39" wide. That would be okay, given the 38.5" width, however, there is a 7/8" lip on each side of the opening which means I'd have to swivel to get it in....Anyone have a guess if I'd have a problem with that?”

I just bought this unit 2 weeks ago and love it. My space is just UNDER 39" and it pulls straight out without having to swivel. Of course the clearance is less than 1/4" on each side.
