• I don’t think you can punch in those channels because the remote is very simple. It has up/ down buttons for channels and volume. Not much more after that.

• There is no feature on the remote to punch in numbers like older tv remotes, you have 3 options to change the channel: 1) use channel up or down, 2) use the guide and go up or down to select the channel you want, or 3) use the voice commands and say "channel 8.4". If you are getting digital channels via antenna which includes the subchannel, when you do the set-up, you just punch in your zip code and all the channels for which you will get reception automatically pop up on the guide, too, which is nice. No picking and choosing.
