“We have a sound system (old) that hooks into our old Samsung that we want to replace with this new Sansung. However, the cables are the round plug-in type. How can we use them with this new TV that does not have round inputs?”

Donna2689, Does your sound system/receiver have HDMI connectors or optical input/Outputs. On this TV i just connected comcast box with HDMI to TV. On my girlfriends TV we also just did receiver HDMI to TV HDMI but could have done the optical cable. This should be how you get signal from TV to sound system, either HDMI or Optical
