“My volume up and down will not adjust the tv. Pressed it either goes mute or stays on the same number. How do I fix this?”

• Hi missvan - The buttons on your remote have multiple functions. The +/- (Volume) button adjusts the volume when rocked up/down. It will mute the sound when pressed in . When pressed in and held for 1 second or more, the Accessibility Shortcuts menu appears. ^Val

• pressing is supposed to mute or un mute. Have you tried pushing towards the top or bottom of the remote without pressing down?

• JOHN B- The should hire you. I ve spend hours on the chat with multiple people. Do this, do that and not one offered your solution!! By the way it worked. Samsung themselves didn t have me do that even though I spent hours on the phone with them! They gave up and said I had a bad remote! THANK YOU!!!
