Hi smoothyj! The AU8000 features 3 ways to connect to external audio devices: HDMI/ARC, digital optical audio, and Bluetoothj wireless audio technology. ^Tim
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.there are several ways to connect SB Some of them require a sound bar with additional inputs. The main and best way is use a SB that has a HDMI arc or HDMI e arc...this gives the best sound and the remote that controls the TV controls the SB also. The optical input also gives great sound but no SB control...and yes there also is wifi (special SB) and bluetooth...last is a 3.5mm audio jack
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.There is an optical audio port (you can see it in the picture of the back under the HDMI 3 port) so an optical audio cord would be your best option. (Most TVs still have optical ports for audio, and sound bars often come with an optical cable. If not, they are only a few dollars.)
