“I would like to place this on a 34" tall dresser and since this has a 38" inch screen with the stand not at the edges I was wondering how much room do I have from the end of the stand to the end of the tv and if you think this will fit safely?”

Hi Teri7171! The legs for the 43" AU8000 are spaced 26.8" apart and each leg is spaced 5.6" from the edge of the TV. You will need a piece of furniture with at least 27" of width to support this TV. The more space you provide eliminates the possibility for accidental damage from the TV being bumped or knocked off of the table. ^Tim
