• It does not have AV hook up. Most TVs don't use em anymore. It's mostly HDMI.

• No. You will need an RCA to HDMI adapter. They are easily found. Be aware that those units are uni-directional. What you want for an input source (DVD, etc) is opposite what you want for output (speakers).
