• Hi Deb, You do not need a cable subscription to access streaming devices such as Netflix or Hulu. You will need Wi-Fi and a subscription to the individual Streaming app. The CU7000 TV also comes with Samsung TV Plus, which offers hundreds of free channels! ~Samsung Advisor
