• No, this tv is connected to an aerial antenna and to the WIFI i dont need anything else.

• HI, To connect most cable boxes, you simply have to connect the box to your wall and then connect it via HDMI to your TV. it's a fairly simple process so you likely will not need assistance. ~Samsung Advisor
