“I read that the remote is charged by room light. since the room I want to put the TV doesn't have a lot of light can you put batteries in it. If not can I purchase a remote that can work on this TV using batteries”

• It does have a solar type of charger, we use it in our bedroom without much sunlight, there is a charging port to charge the remote if it is in the dark, hope this helps.
