• I have an older Blu Ray player connected to my receiver that indirectly outputs video to the TV. The 4k receiver handles the video with a single up-to-date HDMI 2.0 (2.0a?) or better cable through the ARC port of the 4k receiver and the NU6900. Not sure--and I doubt whether--a direct DVD to TV connection would do the trick since the player itself lacks an ARC HDMI connection.
