There are 1 or 2 USB ports (I forget which) on the back of the set. The audio output requires an optical (fiber optic) cable for connection to an external audio device of your choosing. So long as your chosen device will connect to the TV audio output via a fiber optic cable, you should be good. I think. I'm just learning about this, myself. I recommend you ask someone in an electronics store, or a geek friend. Maybe someone out there reading this has a better answer?
