What the difference in the 6 and 7 series. null

The 7 is the slightly newer and better model. By just viewing the screens on the BestBuy store I really didn't notice a difference in the picture. However the 7 has better (lower) input lag, on more HDMI port, one more USB port, a component in, a composite in, and slightly different aesthetics like higher legs. For me it came down to the number of devices I have connected on my TV and opted for the 7 as I needed the 3 HDMI ports and the extra USB was nice.
