The unit has speakers so you use it without a sound bar. If you're looking for a "theater" type sound, you'll still need one.

Please try again later.Hi doolittle, One of the features of the Q60A TV is OTS Lite (Object Tracking Sound Lite) which means that there are strategically placed dynamic speakers that track the action and move the sound around you. If you add a Samsung Q-Series soundbar, please take advantage of Q-Symphony which synchronizes both your TV speakers and soundbar to give you an excellent surround experience. https://www.bestbuy.com/site/searchpage.jsp?st=samsung+soundbars&_dyncharset=UTF-8&_dynSessConf=&id=pcat17071&type=page&sc=Global&cp=1&nrp=&sp=&qp=&list=n&af=true&iht=y&usc=All+Categories&ks=960&keys=keys ^Val
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I actually did buy a sound bar because I was not happy with the way this sounded in the TV cabinet I use. The prices for sound bars can vary. I shopped around for what I could afford and for a size that would fit in the cabinet.
