Just spoke to a Samsung.com rep, it is 60hz. Listed wrong on their own website as well.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It's definitely 60hz with no VRR. Samsung always skimps on smaller models, which is absolutely ridiculous for something at this price point. You can buy a 48" LG CX or C1 OLED for this price, the 50" size of this is only $100 more, and Sony's X85J has a 43" size that's 120hz and it's going for $699 right now (not mini LED and no FALD though, but it is almost half the price). I'm quite disappointed as I would've happily replaced my monitor with this if they didn't skimp out on everything. There's no reason for them to do that, especially on a flagship like this for $1300. Hopefully they change their tune next year and stop doing this, but at least there will be 42" OLED TV's next year, and I'm sure Sony will have something good too.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I did the same thing as Sunny and spoke to a rep directly on Samsung's site. They confirmed that this is indeed 120hz and has FreeSync etc. I'm not sure why there's a discrepancy with the specs on their site vs the data sheet, or why the answers from Samsung here on Best Buy suggest otherwise. It's quite confusing. I know with some models, e.g. "The Frame", that the larger sizes are 120hz/VRR while 43" were 60hz with none. So I'm not sure what to think. I would assume the reps we spoke to on the Samsung chat are correct, but I guess it's just a waiting game at this point. Hopefully this will get straightened out once the TV is actually released. I certainly hope it is 120hz, since I'd like to replace my monitor with this. Much better than something like the Gigabyte FV43U!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Dear Gina, I make a confuse with the 4K 120 & vrr / free sync in 43in model. Coz I have contact Samsung online TV expert and confirmed the 43in has both 4K 120 & vrr / free sync like the bigger model. The information in website and data sheet is not the same too (reported to expert). Please kindly help to clarify this coz this two function is important to me.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi there! The 43” QN90A TV has 4 HDMI ports, all of which support Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM) and Dynamic Metadata (HDR10+). “HDMI In 3” port further supports eARC. If you are looking for a TV capable of 4K@120fps (FRL), please consider stepping up to the 50" QN90A, which supports VRR, as well as “FRL on HDMI In 4”. ^Gina
