Is this a NextGen TV? null

Next Gen Will give you off air antenna. Just buy a 4K antenna. Go to settings, scan channels, and it will give you all the channels you need. Sometimes you may have to move it the antenna to get a better signal. Best to try with that off. Air antenna on a nice sunny day.

it has excellent 4k up scaling for spectrum that is stuck in 1080p... everything else is on streaming for the 4k plus.... so yes this is definitely the next gen tv and great price.

I have no idea what a "NextGen" TV is. However this TV is one of the latest and has SMART Hub of apps and streaming options and can download ones that are not already on the TV. I could use it for streaming TV from my cable provider (AT&T Direct Stream) without a cable box. It can also be a "Smart Things" hub. NeoQLed competes well with OLED. It is 4K. It can also double as a computer monitor,
