When you buy the tv to set it up you must create a Samsung acount you activate it the warranty then on line through the tv wifi atbsame timem cool partbis if your not tech savy the Samsung tech can remote access your tv computer thru internet and dobit for you. Same goes fir diagnostic if issue arrises down the road. If you don't have at least 50 mps high speed internet service you will not be happy with 4k tv performance. To make 4 times the resolution it nedds 4 times the speed and memory space. This tv is a computer more so than a tv of old days. Good ifea to buy a 4k dvd player like thevSony 6500 series and make sure to get new hdmi cables rated for 4k and 3d use. Not the same as the 1st generation cables. Sony has similar in line registration enrollment.
