Does the stand swivel null

No it does not. I don't see any lazy susan type bases on Best Buy if you simply want to set your TV on top of a swivel base. I found one made by Prosumer on another website that worked great for my TV and looks good with the Samsung base on this TV. . Love the TV... and Best Buy.
