I use a Philips universal remote model SRP4004 that I bought at CVS for $14.99. It has clear directions on how to set up the remote to control your devices; the code to operate this TV is 2448.

It controls almost everything that connects to the TV. Very easy to switch from Xfinity to Xbox to Bluray / Dvd player. You can also speak to the remote to pause of fastforward or switch to your blluray player by simply saying "Bluray Player". It has smooth-edge touchpad and Extra button to find out other things like weather or movie info. The only downside is that it isn't backlit /glows like most other remotes do. Hope that helps! Andre
