“Do I need a soundbar with this tv?”

• The built-in sound is not bad - but I found that adding a Samsung HW-K450/ZA Sound Bar with Wireless Subwoofer brought the TV's sound into a league with the excellent picture.

• It probably depends on the size of your room and the importance of high level, movie-like sound quality. We have not purchased a sound bar yet and for my purposes, it is completely fine and definitely loud enough. However, my 14 year old son who is an audiophile, would beg to differ. He says a soundbar would make it sound more like movie theater.
