Yes it does. But like most edge lit displays these days you will began to lose some of the crisp picture when you view it at extreme angles. I recommend a room centered, stand set up. (not mounted on wall...a few reviews out there speak of the housing being a bit flimsy, and after owning this set, I could see how this may be the case)
