Lucky yours stopped working after 8 months. My TV lasted from November 13 2017 to August 13 2019. I guess these are not built to last. The Samsung Warranty is 1 year. You will get no sympathy or break. According to Samsung: It costs 170 for Samsung to come diagnose it. Samsung must understand the problem by what I described (tv blinking on and off) because I was quoted that the parts would be $500. She (the Samsung warranty caller) basically said just go buy a TV but not in those words. I said I probably wouldn't get a Samsung next time and she said "meh" like whatever. LOL
