This tv has excellent picture and color, lot of features to customize to your taste, I tailored mine for haming, automatic adjusted to Xbox one, HDR mode for movies is beautiful, has a remote you can speak into to change cjhannels , features and other stuff.

I'm not "techy" & I was able to set this TV up so easily. The size and color are amazing !!

The quality of the television is a great experience to watch the sports I like to watch

I needed a 49 or 50 inch screen, nothing larger, which limited options. Reviews and local store staff indicated that the UM8000 and its newer UN equivalent had very good image quality, so it was an easy choice. Installed, it obviously has darker blacks than the less expensive 44" 4K TV it replaced, an easier-to-use menu, very easy wifi connection, and it's really nice for displaying photos. It's working very well as part of a home theater system that would work well with a considerably larger screen. Its own sound is quite good. And it looks good in a relatively formal living room. Pull the chairs up and listen to the center speaker above the screen.

I bought these 8 series samsung’s based on the performance of my larger 9 series. These are just as good with their thin bezel and performance.

Always trust Samsung and the quality of the lcd screen , I was waiting for this day so I can get a good price on this tv . Great choice

The colors are amazing and the picture is so clear that it almost looks 3D! The bezel is slim and is almost invisible - it truly looks like art on your wall. This is a beautiful screen!

Perfect size for my entertainment center. EZ set up and separate USB port (One Connect) means I won't have to move the TV again.

Setup was easy WITH THE EXCEPTION of Bluetooth Audio to my Samsung Soundbar. Wouldn't connect via "Bluetooth" section, had to select TV on soundbar and bluetooth on TV...instructions were lacking and tech support was no help....they said it probably needed a firmware update and I'd have to wait...bad info. Aside from that, I'm happy with it. Cable management system is a great feature - very clean look.

This is one of the best TVs ever. I would like to recommend it to everyone.

I buy this tv November 22 on November 24 Istar having problems to connect to the internet, and then black lines show on the screen a few minutes after all the screen when blak.

The Samsung mu 8000 is an excellent 4k tv. The 49" was the largest size I could fit into a cabinet. I was initially disappointed to find that I was told this was a 120hz panel by the best buy asst manager. My main purpose in buying this tv was to watch sports. Even though it turned out that the panel was 60hz, there is no motion blur or any problems with fast action. Color and brightness are excellent. The smart features work well.

The picture quality is out of this world and the speakers are good, but not great. You might want to consider budgeting for a soundbar at some point, but I am managing fine without one. Setup was super easy and the changer is small like a roku selector. It is extremely simple to switch between apps and choose a channel. I cannot say what this would be like paired with at directv box as I stream all of my television. I have been extremely pleased with the quality so far as well as the look. I would recommend it to anyone looking to get their money's worth on a big ticket item such as a TV.
