Bought this on Black Friday and was very satisfied with the TV. Picture quality is very nice and user interface is very easy to use. It can automatically adjust brightness which needs some time to get used to, but I found it to be a useful feature. I think my decision to spend more to get a 8 series instead of 6 is really worth it, especially when the price difference is not that much after discounts.

This picture has an awesome display. The employee the soul this to me accidentally gave me some wrong information, he told me he had a 240 motion rate and it only has a 120. Even with that the picture is awesome. Highly recommend this, with the HDR the picture jumps out at you. And it’s nice to have a separate area to plug in your devices. That way you don’t have wires everywhere.

Seems like a quality TV so far with a sharp picture, rich colors, nice controls and easy setup and menus. Attractive case and hidden cable compartments.

I love this TV. It has the most beautiful picture I’ve ever seen. Ive had a few TV’s over the years ( different brands) and this by far is the best I’ve ever owned. All the whites, blacks and colors are unbelievable.Easy to put together and use is a plus. Just this morning i found out it was rated number 1 in Consumer Reports for the size screen and I truly understand why.

We purchased this TV as a replacement for a ten year old set. We are very pleased with the clarity, color, and ease of use. We record most programs and don't generally use HD to save space. Even so, the picture has an almost 3D look. The installers through Best Buy did a great job of setting everything up for us and showing us how to use the features. Happy purchasers.

So far we are thrilled with this TV. The picture is great and very sharp. The sound is crisp and it works quite easily. Connecting to the internet and our various apps is easy even for this technology-challenged individual. In addition it works well even with our old DVD player. The price was reasonable for the quality and the Geek Squad set-up was pretty painless.

I visited 3 different Best Buy stores. 1 of them gave me correct information (Utica, MI). At the Southfield, MI store and Madison Heights, MI store, I was told that the MU-8000 was a replacement and an upgrade over the KS-8000. It may be a replacement, but it is definitely not an upgrade. No Q-Dots in the MU; the 49" is only a 120hz (which operates at a 60hz) on the MU. Not a bad TV, but the MU-8000 series doesn't hold up to last years KS-8000 series. In my opinion, the MU-8000 is more comparable to the KS-7000. Again, not a bad TV, I just prefer the KS. I'm returning this TV as I was able to order a KS-8000 49" from Best Buy. the 120hz on the MU vs the 240hz on the KS is a difference maker for me. One thing I was impressed on is the Black quality. Very deep on the Blacks. Very nice design. Also like the one connect (HUB). Good way to hide cables.

It was a little more than I wanted to spend, but when you compare the picture and vibrancy in color side by side with a regular HD-it is totally worth it. It was a little challenging to set up because the my wifi had a 17 character password and the TV has a max limit of 13 that it would accept, but no where does it tell you that. I had to call samsung and was on hold for some time, but we identified the problem and I shortened the PW there were no more issues. Just something good to know before starting set up! Happy with the purchase!

I love this TV. I woke up one morning to find the TV I had had a big crack in it and I needed a new one right away. The man in the TV department was really helpful and steered me to this product. It has an excelent picture. Greens and Reds look great. The smart features are exactly what I was looking for. for reference, Injustice 2 looks amazing on it.

This top of the line television is absolutely wonderful! It is our first "smart" TV and we are loving all the new features, especially the voice command! And being able to access Spotify, Discover, etc is amazing. And the picture quality is wonderful. I would also highly recommend the sound bar. We don't have surround sound so this was a great addition.

I have only had the TV for about 2 weeks, but the picture is great for an LED and the price was very good. I needed a new TV to play PS4 on and this is working great for that and also watching Hulu and Netflix. Time will tell if the wifi card last in this model and if Samsung continues to support it unlike my other two Samsungs that will not update.

It was a difficult time choosing the right television. We first got a 6000 series and the picture was not right. We upgraded and went to SONY 700 series and that was awful. Not a nice picture and sound terrible. So we went back to Samsung because we have a wonderful Samsung that has lasted years but we needed a 2nd tv. All pictures get compared to this and it is not even 4K but it is wonderful. So we went back to Samsung but went to a 8000 series but if you want a sharp picture this is what we had to do in a 4k. Picture is nice and sharp, large, sound excellent. We got the open box to save more $$ and it was on sale and we felt we got an excellent price and an excellent tv. The salesmen tried to steer us from Samsung saying SONY was better. We both fully disagree with that. Also our first tv we returned was a Black Friday Special and they take all the bells and whistles out to give you the low price and we felt they took too much out. Some complain about the plain remote. It is fine. We only stream. And because we have 2 samsung my son's got our old tv and he can connect to what we are watching if he wants and remotes are interchangeable. Love Samsung and this tv. 6000 & 7000 series not such a sharp picture.

I researched my upgrade from an older flatscreen to this 4K UHD TV for some time. I needed to stay 50” and below. Came down to this Samsung and a similar Sony model. Love this TV for the picture quality, simple remote, and easy on screen set up. Bought a Samsung sound bar and 4K DVD player and as expected, everything works seamlessly together.

I purchased the TV for my bedroom. The TV is aesthetically pleasing with a very narrow bezel that is brushed aluminum. Works great with Apple TV 4K. The picture with 4K and HDR is fantastic...actually better than my 2016 LG 65” OLED. Definitely worth the price. Has built in Wi-Fi interconnectivity. Mounts almost flush to the wall.

We stream movies, tv programs. local news programs, Public Television and other programs like music and YouTube as well as National Geographic types of Programming. This tv is so awesome with clear, beautiful colors and bright exciting pictures that are precise and dynamic. We love this tv and it is so easy to program and use.

The HDR on this tv is stunning. The colors are very vibrant. The sound is also pretty good. The bass comes through well. It was really easy to setup and the controls are very simple.

We just purchased the TV, and are trying to learn abut the product. So far we are very pleased with it. It has so many features. The best is that has 4K HDR extreme which enhances the picture depth and clarity. So far we love it. We have other Samsung product at home and are pleased with them.

I bought this tv on Black Friday for $700. The picture is very crisp and the HDR brings out perfect brights and deep dark colors. I love the one remote and separate input box that comes with it. You won’t have tons of cords and wires coming out the back. Overall, excellent purchase.

I am blown away with the picture on this TV!! It replaced a 13 year old Samsung that finally began having problems. TVs have come a long way in that amount of time!! It actually took some time getting used to the clarity of the picture! I did have to adjust the sound setting as my wife and I were having trouble hearing the audio when set in normal. Maybe we are just getting hard of hearing!! I am also slowly getting used to the remote. I have used a remote with over 50 buttons on it for years. It is unbelievable what this small, sleek remote is capable of doing. I am extremely happy my old TV began having problems so I could finally move into the "4k generation" !!! I would recommend this TV without any reservation. Also, as a side note, The Best Buy staff in Findlay, Ohio spent a great deal of time answering many questions from this "tech ignorant" consumer. Thank you, Best Buy!

You pay for quality. Samsung tvs have amazing quality and this one has great colors. With the HDR, 4k HDR movies look great. It compliments the Apple 4k TV very well. Also the ps4 plays very well on this tv just make sure you keep that input on game mode.
