“I asked whether there was a sleep option on the remote - and the response was yes - without telling me HOW to do it. Not so helpful and the manual stinks as far as information. Could you enlighten me? Thanks”

Tunattouro, Here are the steps: Press Home Button on your remote Navigate to Settings Navigate to General Select System Manager Select Time Select Sleep timer You can use this function to automatically turn off the television after a pre-set period of time. ^Heath
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Press home button, scroll left to settings it will appear on screen in the quick settings scroll up once then right to sleep timer. Just press center button on remote it will change sleep time with each press. 30 60 120 180 minutes and off.
