How is the sound quality? Is a soundbar necessary? null

The sound quality is great in my home. My TV is in my living/family room and no sound bar is needed. I'm very happy with my purchase. I had also before buying researched several online and in different stores. Always came back to Best Buy and checked out the different brands in person. Glad I researched and glad I purchased this TV.

Just bought this TV yesterday! I have it in my large bedroom. It better then all of the flat screens I’ve had plus there are 3 levels of sound one being “Amplify” which really boost out the sound clearly and higher volume. It’s awesome for a flat screen. It’s Dolby digital plus with 40 watts instead of the standard 20 watts. I actually enjoy the sound. I think you will as well
