Does the TV swivel to some extent on this stand? null

I don't think so I used a full swivel wall mount

NO, it does NOT swivel at all in it’s stand. The stand is comprised of two separate pieces that require you to assemble with a screwdriver and specific screws included, before being able to attach to the tv. Once attached, it is very stable and in a standard fixed position. If you want for it to swivel, you’ll have to purchase a wall mount that offers that feature.

No, scary thought! Need an engineer for that one ! I would not want mine damaged or crashing to the floor!
