- Answer I am actually looking for this info myself before making a purchase, as I want to featue for my Xbox One X. There are some conflicting info. Below is the review of rtings.com and they added this: Update 10/26/2018: We have received confirmation that the 49" NU8000 does support FreeSync". Some user reviews or other sites mention that 49 inch doesn't support FreeSync, I just don't know who to believe. I did try to see if stores have 49 inch of NU8000 and Q6FN, but couldn't find the one that had an updated firmware... https://www.rtings.com/tv/reviews/samsung/nu8000

QuestionDoes the 49” version of this TV support Variable refresh rate and AMD FreeSync? It is a 60hz panel, variable refresh rate/FS would be capped at 60hz, but can any owner confirm that the feature is available on the 49”?

- Answer When looking at the tv and it is powered off. Their is a red button at the bottom right hand corner. Their is a small button on the bottom of that. When your tv is on. The light is off but you can press the button and bring up options on the tv.
