“Does the TV swivel on the stand so that the viewing angle can be adjusted?”

Hi there - The 49Q80T does not have a swivel stand. It does utilize a center pedestal, though. The measurements are: DIMENSIONS (INCHES W x H x D): • TV WITHOUT STAND: 43.1 x 25 x 2.2 • TV WITH STAND: 43.1 x 28 x 9.4 • SHIPPING: 51.9 x 30.2 x 7 • STAND FOOTPRINT: 20.1 x 9.3 x 9.4 WEIGHT (LB): • TV WITHOUT STAND: 28.9 • TV WITH STAND: 38.6 ^Cris

It is not a swiveling stand. It is not a heavy TV though and before installing the stand to the TV I place small felt sliders on the bottom so it would be easier to move it to any desired angle as long as there is room for the TV.
