Yes, sort of. A better solution is to go to the laundromat for such a huge item. However, I have done it, and the machine did OK using the "Bedding" setting. It did get it clean.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes this washer will easily handle a king size comforter. We have a king bed and have washed the sheets and covers with no issue. To be honest the drum is so large that my wife who is short has to lean into the drum to get clothes out of the back!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have done several King sized blankets and bedspreads/comforters. They appeared clean, smelled clean so "YES", but maybe looks are deceiving. I put the same items (one at a time) in the matched dryer, and it was very uneven in drying, took a longer time in spite of selecting either "bedding" or "heavy duty". Again they seemed pretty clean, but I am unsure. Remember this is for the 5.0 cu ft washer, there are larger washers, and if I had it to do over, I would get the larger one, in spite of the sizeable price increase.
