Although I don’t have an answer to your question, I wanted to comment because I used to have my dryer to the left and washer to the right. When I purchased my new washer and dryer from Best Buy, the installers were very helpful and adjusted all those hoses and and vents to allow the washer and dryer to be switched (washer on the left, dryer on the right). This allowed the door to both open outwards and it makes transferring the clothes easier.
