• Do NOT use the beads. They ruined our brand new washer. We had to have someone come out and service ours because our washer stopped working. The problem was that we used beads. They don't melt all the way and clog the washer

• Great question, Ginny! According to page 30 of the user manual (https://bit.ly/3m3AA64) only liquid fabric softener is recommended to use with this model. ^Jecca
