“Soundbar has been working great! However, the first night I used it, volume was loud and kept at 14-22. Now suddenly all devices need higher volume to achieve same level from first night, more like 35-45. Haven't changed anything. Why is volume different?”

Haven't experienced that. I did notice that there are differences in volume depending on the audio "settings" you chose. For instance, the remote control for the Soundbar has different audio settings. Different settings have different effects on the volume. I've left settings on "surround" and the level for that is about 20 and I have a good size den.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Get extreme differences in volume between streaming apps like Netflix, Amazon prime, Hulu, CBS now or Showtime and constantly have to adjust volume. They’ll be significant differences in volume that very greatly even in the same app between movies! Just went from a Panasonic 3D TV to a TLC, and now a 75” thinQ LG, and experience the same phenomenon. You would think they would be an adjustment for volume leveling, but in the ridiculous non-intuitive settings of the LG I cannot find one. I want to use it as a monitor connected to an Apple 4K TV, as the LG would constantly interrupt saying “Recommendations, constantly that was incredibly annoying. Disconnected ether net and still got these annoying messages and spoken content even though it was all turned off. Finally realize somehow it connected to my router via Wi-Fi and completely disable that and finally the LG is silent. This is off subject but I’m really not pleased with the direction all the smart TVs are going and collecting your data and even a button by default turned off, saying they were going to sell your personal information, embedded deep in their sub menus and found it by accident, and turned it off or rather on.
