plug all equipment cable/sat, Blu-ray, firestick, etc.. into the TV itself then use an OPTICAL cable from the TV to the soundbar, or if the TV supports it connect thru Bluetooth. now in the TV go to menu settings whatever they call it go to audio/sound and choose the option that turns off the TVs built in speakers and turn on the optical out. see your TV manual for these specifics. set the soundbar to the proper input (optical, or Bluetooth) and your done.
