• Yes! I have a Samsung tv so it connected automatically. If you look at page 20 in the manual, it shows you how to set it up to work with a non Samsung tv.

• Yes it automatically turns on with our TV and is set as default sound. Our TV will automatically turn on when our cable box is turned on and the sound bar will also come on.

• I may be doing something wrong, but mine turns on automatically with the TV, but when I shut the TV off, I have to manually shut the sound bar off.
