Yes. Bar is hooked up to tv. Apple TV is as well...I hit menu on my Apple TV hand control. I turn on speaker system using its remote...volume control is there using either One of these hand controls

You can use the HDMI in or event the ARC from your TV to connect an Apple TV to the HW-Q60T soundbar. ^Jason
