Please try again later.yes there is paper user manual (which is not that big, but enough to get you going) that comes with unit (you can also search YouTube for tone of reviews of similar units and you will have no issue figure things out between the user's manual and YouTube stuff; I have not set up the smart phone connectivity, but there might be some stuff there too)
