“I have 54-55 inches of height clearance which means i may be able to open the lid door half way is this a issue for washing on top load”

Hi EddyO! There shouldn't be an issue as far as performance goes, you will be able to was clothes on the top load without a glitch. As far as comfort goes, it could be a bit uncomfortable since you can't open it all the way. ^Penny
